Angie Codella Faraci

Here is Vance in his Diego costume.  He loved being Diego and was thrilled to put on the simple costume (blue pants, blue shirt, fishing vest and backpack).  He was trying it on the night before, which is the top photo.

Then on Halloween night we dressed him up again, spiked his hair and away we went.  He had the time of his life.  We walked up to the first house and I escorted him to the door, told him to say “Trick or Treat” and “Thank You”.  By the third house he was telling us to stay on the sidewalk and watch him go up to the house.  He would knock on the door and say “Trick or Treat.”  At which point he would turn around and show them his Diego backpack, as that is where he wanted his candy to go.  He would then say “Thank You,” and “Have a Good Night” as he walked away.  That always got a good laugh from the person(s) at the door.  We had a great time watching him.  It was a FUN Halloween night.

Our thoughts go out to the Faraci family as Helen (Vin’s mom) lost her younger brother Roy.  He passed away on Halloween to a three year battle with ALS.  We will miss him and will always remember his “Royisms.”  Our thoughts go out to all the family and friends who will miss him and think about him often.

We were glad we were able to make the trip to Roxbury to offer support and remembrance to the families affected by his passing.  We love you all.
